The Holocaust Trilogy
The Dybbuk

by
Julia Pascal

The third play in the trilogy, set in a Jewish  Ghetto where the starving inmates, resist being turned into anonymous dead by assert their humanity &cultural heritage by performing the Folk tale of the Dybbuk before they are exterminated. The author in her text then  asks  the performers to  create their own ending to the play, as a metaphor for genocide . We took this is a starting point and wove it's physical narrative  through the three plays.
